Park Heights Renaissance proudly presents the 5th Annual George “Spider” Anderson Music & Arts Festival on Saturday, May 16, taking place on the 4800 Block of Park Heights Avenue. As the proud community partner for the Preakness 151, this free community celebration honors the legacy of George “Spider” Anderson—the first Black jockey to win the Preakness in 1889— while offering local businesses the opportunity to showcase their services and residents to keep dollars circulating within the community.
There’s fun for the whole family—start entertainment, horseback rides, carnival games, food trucks, vendors, a kids’ zone and much more!
