George “Spider” Anderson Fest — It’s a Movement!
The George “Spider” Anderson Music & Arts Festival is a signature Park Heights celebration honoring the legacy of George “Spider” Anderson, the first Black jockey to win the Preakness Stakes. As an official community partner of Preakness, the festival features national and local talent, vendors, food, arts, and family-friendly fun while serving as an economic driver that brings visibility, opportunity, and dollars back into the community.
